フランツ・オーベルヴィンクラー

フランツ・オーベルヴィンクラー（Franz Oberwinkler, 1939年5月22日 - 2018年3月15日）はドイツの菌学者。菌類の形態学、生態学、系統発生学の研究者である。

経歴

バート・ライヘンハルで生まれた。ミュンヘン大学で、ヨーゼフ・ペルト (Josef Poelt) のもとで学び1965年に学位を得た。1967年から1974年の間、ミュンヘン大学の分類学研究所の研究助手、講師を務めた。1968年から1969年の間は、ベネズエラ・メリダの国連食糧農業機関の南米森林研究所でも働いた。

1984年に、カール・メグデフラウ (Karl Mägdefrau) の後を継いで、テュービンゲン大学の分類学と菌類学の教授に就任した。1974年から2008年までテュービンゲンの植物園の園長も務めた。

2010年に国際菌学会 (International Mycological Association: IMA) の De Bary Medal を受賞した。Sphaerobasidioscypha oberwinkleri や Oberwinkleria anulata などの種に献名されている。
