A super-lustrous, gemmy and stepped rhodochrosite rhombohedron from the late 70s find at the Huallapon Mine at Pasto Bueno, Peru. We think that this crystal has been acid dipped to bring out the amazing lustre. However, this remains a highly representative rhodo from a much sought-after locality, as no more have been found since the early 80s of this size and quality. 3.8 x 2.9 x 2.5 cm
