解説German post office in Galata, Constantinople.jpg
English: On the eve of WWI, there were three German post offices in Constantinople. The oldest one (picture) opened in the district of Galata in 1870, and was followed by branches in Stambul (1876), and Pera (1900). German post offices in the Ottoman Empire ceased to operate in September 1914.
